Celebration of First Holy Communion
will be celebrated on Sat May 12 @10AM & Sunday May 13 @ 8:30am and 10:30am
The Eucharist, or Communion, is both a sacrifice and a meal. We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins. As we receive Christ's Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God.

Some criteria to help determine a child’s readiness for First Communion:
٠Does the child participate in Sunday Mass on a regular basis?
٠Does the child participate in religious education classes through the Catholic School or parish religious education programs?
٠Does the child know or are willing to learn the responses and prayers at Mass?
٠Does the child like to participate in prayers regularly?
٠Does the child show faith and reverence that is necessary for sharing in communion?
